New Transformers Cartoon Coming This Summer

New Transformers Cartoon Coming This Summer

According to Topless Robot, the new Transformers cartoon to come out later this summer does not appear to tie in with the G1 series majority of Transformers hope for. There’s an image of Bumblebee who looks very much his counterpart in the live-action Transformers movie.

This Year’s Optimus Prime Speakers

This Year's Optimus Prime Speakers

Who remembers the awesome Optimus Prime speakers from two years ago? How many of you seen the one for this year?

Chances are, you’ve already seen the images before reading the words; so there’s not much else to say other than the new USB powered one (this year’s version) sucks.

Horrible Marketing Attempts To Kill Transformers: Rise of the Fallen

Horrible Marketing Attempts To Kill Transformers: Rise of the Fallen

How many of you are excited about “Transformers: Rise of the Fallen”? A lot of you are, it’s expected. But how many of you seen the various merchandises tied with the movie? More importantly, how many of you would actually buy those products?

Okay, the action figures are cool looking. Well, most of them. But not the ones that comes from Burger King’s kid’s meal. Take a look at the hideous thing Burger King calls Constructin’ Devastator.

Revenge Of The Fallen Criticized For Hip-Hop Twins

Revenge Of The Fallen Criticized For Hip-Hop Twins

Seems like there are some Transformers fans not too happy about Skid and Mudflap. E! Online gives the following description for the Autobot twin in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”:

[..] over-the-top, hip-hop-inspired vernacular and stereotypically black-sounding voices are, at best, racially and culturally insensitive and, at worst, grossly ignorant and offensive.

However, this may not be the worst to come from “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”. Stay tuned to find out why.

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, Go Watch It!

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, Go Watch It!

If you haven’t watched “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”, you’re wasting your time. There are some moments where it seems Micheal Bay is trying too hard to connect with the younger audience by giving some of the Autobots a very stereotypical ebonic voice. Micheal, if you’re trying to upset the minorities you’re starting to get there.

There is a Decepticon character that may have created just for the movie, however, I’m not really sure. I’m not going to spoil the movie for you so you might as well watch it to figure out who I’m talking about.

One nice thing about this sequel is that there are a lot of Autobots and Decepticons but it’s hard to say if you can recognize all of them by the time the movie ends.

All in all, if you’re a hardcore Transformers fan you’ll definitely want to watch it. If not, it’s still a good movie. It’s definitely worth the $10.

(Naruto also appears in poster form in the scene in the dorm room when Sam enters the room filled with girl pics so keep an eye out for that!)

18′ Tall Bumblebee In California

18' Tall Bumblebee In California

So you read and hear a lot about the full-scale Gundam in Japan and wonder what the U.S. has to offer to counter such an awesome statue? Well, Tom Rhodes created an 18 feet tall Bumblebee in his yard. The Bumblebee statue is a replica of the 80’s version and Rhodes built it using a Volkwagon Beetle.

But that won’t be enough to take on the 60 feet plus tall Gundam. Or maybe it is.
