According to Topless Robot, the new Transformers cartoon to come out later this summer does not appear to tie in with the G1 series majority of Transformers hope for. There’s an image of Bumblebee who looks very much his counterpart in the live-action Transformers movie.

If you’re looking for a new manga to read, you might want to give Dorohedoro a try. VIZ releases Dorohedoro for manga fans and will be in bookstores at $12.99 per volume. Keep in mind that the manga carries an “M” rating, meaning there is content intended for mature audience.
In a city so dismal it’s known only as “the Hole,” an underground group of Sorcerers have been abducting people off the streets to use as guinea pigs for atrocious “experiments” in the black arts. In a dark alley, Nikaido found Caiman, a mutant man with a reptile head and a bad case of amnesia. To undo the spell, Nikaido and Caiman hunt and kill the Sorcerers in the Hole, hoping that eventually they’ll kill the right one. But when En, the head Sorcerer, gets word of a lizard-man slaughtering his people, he sends a crew of “cleaners” into the Hole, igniting a war between two worlds.
“DOROHEDORO blends bloody mutant action with the classic horror elements—zombies, demons, and ghosts—and an intricate postapocalyptic urban setting,” says Leyla Aker, Editorial Manager, VIZ Media. “At the same time, the characters are likable, the dialogue’s funny, and I think readers will be surprised by its charm.”

A link to an official 「Ladies versus Butlers! / れでぃ×ばと！」 website, which is currently under construction, was posted on several 2ch threads earlier today. A light novel receiving an official website very much indicates that a new anime project will be formally announced soon…
「Ladies versus Butlers! / れでぃ×ばと！」 is originally a shounen light novel series from author Kouzuki Tsukasa — with illustrations by Munyuu. A manga adaptation is also available from the pages of Dengeki Moeoh.

Hino Akiharu lost his parents when he was an elementary student and was taken in by his uncle’s family. One day, he sees on the news about the newly-established Hakureiryou Gakuin, a school which was re-built from an elite girls’ school. He decides to take the exam for that school and succeeds in entering the House Management Department (the place to train maids & butlers). He wants to become a butler, although his appearance scares the ladies. Akiharu has a sinister look in his eyes, a scar on his right eyebrow, and bristled up hair. Add 3 piercings on his ears and he indeed has a typical bad boy look on him.

He meets his “nemesis” at that school, Saikyou Tomomi, a girl with a two faced character who traumatized him many times since they were kids. Another girl named Cernia Iori FlameHeart chases after him because of his looks and calls him suspicious. Still, Akiharu starts finding his feet at the school and his relationships with the girls also get better…

VIZ has recently launched a brand new shojo manga series, Kanoko Sakurakoji’s Black Bird. Black Bird is geared towards girls in their teens and retails for $8.99 U.S. / $10.50 CAN.
There is a world of myth and magic that intersects ours, and only a special few can see it. Now Misao is just trying to stay alive and trying to decide if she likes it when Kyo licks her wounds.
